There’s are some interesting pictures and comments on Truth about New Brighton lifeboat station Facebook page concerning an incident that took place over the weekend where a lifeboat tractor ended up in the Mersey – again !
Wirral Leaks brought you news of the first time this happened in our Get in the Sea story which was an episode in a long running saga which started with the sacking of lifeboat volunteers at New Brighton lifeboat station.

Another lifeboat tractor written off… spent the night submerged …just watched it being towed away by huge heavy lifting machine. Inshore lifeboat out of commission can’t get back to New Brighton station.. spent night moored up elsewhere (Liverpool landing stage?)
When they sacked the New Brighton lifeboat crew…. they lost 300 years of experience. Wouldn’t it be nice to hear a comment from New Brighton Lifeboat Chairman Cllr Tony Jones? (Yes, he who helped to fuck over the old lifeboat crew in the first place)
