One of the reasons we’ve hung around like the fetid stench of corruption that lingers in the local corridors of power was the expectation of an impending General Election.
Now that it is election day we implore the voters of Wirral to exercise their democratic right . As ever we will maintain our political neutrality which is evidenced by the fact that we have been accused at various times of supporting both ends of the political spectrum.
However we will be taking a particular interest in the election result in a specific Wirral constituency. We think you can guess which one!
Therefore we intend to rouse ourselves out of our severe bout of can’t -be-arsedness brought on by a decade of political pissing in the wind and provide a full commentary on the General Election and how it could impact on the future political landscape of Wirral.
Forget the national picture for now – your vote could mean that we have the biggest political upheaval on Wirral for four decades. So use your vote wisely …
Bye bye then 👋👋👋
#Wirralgate ain’t gone away…!
Frank’s staunch support wasn’t quite enough to save Labour.
Sad to see Frank lose. I have no idea about the new MP for Birkenhead. I know Mr Field upset some people, but I remember the campaign he ran against Sir Shifty Green.
What’s your opinion on extortion of public cash, practically running into £hundreds of thousands?
Just noticed that @moira4rockferry appears to have fled Twitter. Could the curtain be drawn down soon on her “impactful” career in alleged “public service”…?
Will the local taxi companies manage to remain afloat…?
