We’d like to thank our latest contributor to the ongoing Tom Quinn/Frank Field Education Trust story which provides us with further evidence that ‘something untoward’ is going on and what’s more is something which requires further scrutiny – if only by us! We did say this one would run and run and accordingly we’re racking up the miles on the treadmill of truth…
Good afternoon,
I have read with interest your recent blogs on the situation with Ofsted reports at Ellesmere Port Catholic High, Whitby High and South Wirral High. It seems clear to me that something untoward has happened.
This may not have any relevance, and may be commonly known above board information, but back in March (so before Quinn resigned from SJP and around the time of the Ofsted inspections) two jobs were advertised on the TES (Times Educational Supplement) under St John Plessington. However, they were unusual because they were advertised as being at the school but in the description it said the posts would be at the C of E Academy because the Frank Field Trust and the Holy Family MAT were working together in some capacity. It is highly unusual to see a job advertised at one school but actually undertaken at another, so it suggests a very close relationship between the Frank Field MAT and Quinn at the same time as the Ofsted reports. The adverts have long since been taken down from the TES as the closing date has passed, but I do have a screenshot of one of the adverts and the description of the connection between the trusts as I was considering applying but was confused about which school the post would be based at. The advert was posted on Friday 15th March 2019 and was live until 22nd March. I’ve attached the screenshot for you in case it is of interest.
Best wishes
